Bourbon Street French Quarter Update
| BWNO | Hello all. We planned the event in the Warehouse District so that getting to and from, and enjoying the French Quarter is both easy and safe. There will be many options - park near the event and there will be a number of easy and enjoyable ways to go the one mile to the quarter. You can park at the City Parking Lot near Jax Brewery for $10. We are working with the city so that everyone feels welcomed. No one throws a better festival than New Orleans. There are rules and easy ways to enjoy the French Quarter. Simply park in the designated lots, take one of the many cool horse drawn shuttles, or walk in - but there is an ordinance that bikes are not allowed in the Quarter after 12:00 midnight. Although it is famour of bars and restaurants - it is actually a residentil zone. So they want us there and want us to have a great time. They simple ask us to respect their magical city. We have made it very easy for all bikers to come down and enjoy - just simply take advantage of the parking options and then getting in the French Quarter will be very easy indeed. | 4/22/09 2:36 PM |
